Does Hudson have a "BLIGHT" problem?
Town of Hudson Blight Bylaw Committee
seeks YOUR opinion!
- What is blight?
- What causes blight?
- How does blight impact the Town of Hudson?
- How can we curb blight?
- Does Hudson need or want an Anti-Blight Bylaw?
The Hudson Board of Selectmen has appointed a 12 member Blight Bylaw Committee. The purpose of this committee is to explore and determine if Hudson residents feel that there is a need for an Anti-Blight Bylaw in the Town of Hudson, and if there is a need – to determine what areas should be addressed. In order to complete our task, we need to hear from you.
We are representing the residents, so it is important for you to let us know how you feel and what you want for the Town of Hudson. We need your opinion.
For the past two months, we have been conducting a town-wide survey. All surveys were confidential and anonymous. No personal information or email addresses were collected. The survey was available online and paper surveys were also available at the Town Clerk’s Office, Board of Health Dept., Building Dept., Recreation Dept., the Senior Center, and the Library. Public computers were available at the Library and Senior Center.
This survey is now closed & surveys were due March 2, 2014. Over 700 people completed the survey and wrote over 40 pages of comments! We are now taking time to make sure we thoroughly analyze the results and comprehend all of the comments.
Thank you to all that participated in the survey. Your input is critical to this process and we truly value your opinion.
Please stay tuned for the results of the survey.
