When is enough? “End of Life Issues” - Oct. 25th 10:30
presented by Marlborough Ethic’s Committee members
I have been on the Marlborough Hospital Ethic’s committee for a few years and this topic always interests me.  I invited two members of our committee to come to the Hudson Senior Center to have an open discussion on “End of Life” issues.  Did you know there are two kinds of DNR (Do Not Resuscitate) orders?  Do you have your health care proxy in place?  Do you want to change your health care proxy?  Do you understand “comfort measures”?   Have you seen “Life Saving Devices”?  And do you understand what a patient goes through when undergoing such procedures?  Please come to the center for this most informative presentation.  We will have an RN from the hospital intensive care unit, and a minister. This will provide a medical and theological perspective.  Come and share your thoughts and feelings regarding this very sensitive issue! Please call 978-568-9638 to reserve your seat!
