RESULTS FROM THE DISPOSAL OF PRESCRIPTION DRUG SURVEY We would like to thank everyone, (over 180 people) who participated in our survey. The results were excellent, because we got the answers we were hoping for. We found 31% of the people surveyed flushed their medications down the toilet. This is an improper way to dispose of medications because it has been proven to pollute our environment. The proper way to dispose of unused medications is to throw them in the trash or in coffee grounds. Thanks to all who helped us with our Community Action Project. For more information contact Dr. Sam Wong at the Board of Health 978-562-2020.
Sincerely yours,
A.J. Jacobs and Nick Foland, Hudson High School students
Don’t forget the Hudson Food Panty We continue to take donations of food and paper products for the food pantry. It really makes a difference to those in need. A big thank you to all who donate!
