Victorian carolers on the Boston Public Gardens spring to life like a living Currier and Ives print. Huge Nutcracker bears, sleeping beside giant toy drums, join Clara in a charming ballet beneath an immense Christmas tree. A stage filled with life size Raggedy Ann’s and Andies wish one and all a very literal and clever Merry Christmas greeting! This year’s edition promises even more of the magic wonder and cheer that audiences have come to expect of Reagle’s Holiday spectacle. Cost is $72.00 and that includes the bus, the play and a lunch at Waltham’s Chateau
Restaurant. You will have a choice of either chicken supreme or haddock with cheesecake for dessert.

The play is Crossing Delaney it is a play about a modern young woman, and while visiting her grandmother the nosey old lady and her friend tries to “matchmaker” her with a “good catch”. It is a warm and loving play and the food is delicious too. The price for this trip is $69.00.
We just got this trip offered to us. On December 5th to December 7th the New England Patriots VS the Miami Dolphins in Miami, Florida and it includes a lot of extras. I am sending for flyers on this one to pass out to the seniors. The price of this trip is $899.00 pp double occupancy and if you wanted to extend this trip for an additional 5 days for an extra $400.00 inside cabin you can go on a cruise to the Bahamas.

We have a few seats left for the 35th Anniversary Celebration, which will be held on June 18th It is an all star cast featuring the sound of Frank Sinatra, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Elvis, etc. A great show not to be missed.
We are still doing the Tall Ship trip on July 9th. I have two seats left out of 40. You will be going to the Four Points Restaurant for a delicious meal and then entertainment. You will then get on the Provincetown II to view the Tall Ships.

We have got a few excellent trips coming up this year.
We are offering the fabulous Four Aces remembering the 50’s they are performing at Luciano’s at Lake Pearl in Wrentham on May 14th it is always a great place to go. We are offering Breast of Chicken or Baked Haddock, plus. The price for this trip is $65.00.
Our next trip will be on June 18th and this will be the 35th Anniversary Celebration featuring a USO Variety Show. There will be lots of surprises with this show. The food choice is Top of the Round Yankee Pot Roast or Boneless Stuffed Chicken Breast w/cornbread and cranberry stuffing. The price of the trip is $65.00.
We still have two or three seats left on the Tall Ships of Boston. You will be going to the Four Points in Norwood for either Boneless Breast of Chicken or Baked Haddock w/Herb Bread Crumbs, plus. Then there is the show at the Four Points and then onto the Provincetown II for a great view of the Tall Ships. The price for this trip is $100.00.

We had~a wonderful time on our March 15th trip to the Reagle Players and also a great meal at the Chateau. These were some of the comments I received from the seniors that took the trip. It made me feel good to know that the work we put into the trips was well appreciated.
Our next trip is on April 15th on see New Dawn at the Sheraton Four Points.
For all you senior that asked to go to Foxwoods well your wish is granted. We will be going on~April 30th and the price is still $20.00 and that includes the bus driver's tip.
On May 14th we will be going to see the Four Aces at Luciano's at Lake Pearl. This is one show you do not want to miss. The price is $65.00.

For all you RED SOX fans, on July 17th to the 20th we are offering a trip to Toronto Canada to see them play the Toronto Blue Jays. It includes 5 meals, a dinner theater featuring a Las Vegas Style Magical Review, plus much more. ($599.00 for a double, triple is $579.00 a quad is $559.00 and single is $849.00) Final payment due June 3rd.

We still have a few seats left to the Reagle Players and the Chateau for lunch on March 15th. This is a show that you don’t want to miss. I went last year and I plan on going again. It is about an Irish family and it has lots of music and dancing and folk telling. Everyone who goes to see the play dresses in green and some even wear shamrocks and it is a very festive way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day. The price is $75.00.

On February 24th we will be going to the Holiday Inn in Boxborough, MA to see “Dixieland with Attitude”. This group features Henri Smith , born in New Orleans and a vocalist and actor. You will think you are on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, with Fabulous Music, Balloons, Beads and a delicious meal of Stuffed Chicken Breast or Blackened Pork Loin with Creole Sauce. If you drive yourself the price is only $44.00.
I booked the Reagle Theatre for their Irish show on March 15th. Last year my daughter and I went and it was a wonderful show. I have only 50 tickets so if you are interested in going please call the Center. We will be eating at the Chateau Restaurant around noon time and then off to the show. The price of this program is $75.00.
On April 15th we are going to the Sheraton Four Points in Leominster to see The New Dawn singers. This is a high energy extravaganza show not to be missed.

The Reagle Playhouse trip, Rememb
ering the 40’s was quite a trip I heard. Also, the Common Man Inn was quite a success. It was our first overnight trip and it went very well. All the seniors had a wonderful time. The next trip to go out of the Senior Center will be Zoot Suit Riot on November 6th. That is going to be a fun one with music from the 30’s, 40’s, 50’s and 60’s. I am sure you will know them all. The meal is roast turkey with dressing, vegetable, potato, dessert coffee/tea and the price is $58.00 and that includes the bus driver’s tip. Well the seniors had a wonderful time on the Boston Harbor Tour. It was wonderful that all the staff was allowed to go. I still have a few seats on the Fox woods trip on October 11th and the cost is only $20.00. If you are interested please call the Center. We also have the November 6th trip to see Zoot Suit Riot. I am sorry to say that these are all the trips I have left for the year 2007. Most of the trips have been a sellout, so if you see sometime in the future that interest you call right away to reserve you seat. We have been going through trips for the year 2008 and a lot of them look promising. With all our trips once you pay everything else is included even the bus driver’s tip. We are taking names only on the next two trips to see what kind of interest you seniors have. They will both be held at the Reagle Playhouse in Waltham. The first is on October 6th at 2:00 PM and it is Remembering the 40’s. If you are Veteran of WW II admission is free. On December 9th at 1:00 P.M. they will perform “It’s Christmas Time” a show not to be missed. We are still up in the air if we should go to lunch before or not. Riot at Lantana and the price is $58.00. Our tour company has offered us a few more tickets to see Roy Clark’s Christmas at Mohegan on November 29th. The price is $61.00. Well the seniors had a wonderful time at the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Library. See the pictures. Our next trip will be in August to see 42nd Street at the Reagle Playhouse. This is a sell out at this time, but sometimes we do have cancellations. If you are interested in this trip please call the center and we will put your name on our wait list. On September 6th we are going to Mohegan to see Tony Orlando. I have a few seats left on this trip. The price is $61.00 including the bus driver’s tip. October 11th we will be offering a trip to Foxwoods again. The price is $20.00 and it also includes the bus driver’s tip. Please sign up early, this trip usually sells out fast. Well that is all for now except to let you know four of us have signed up for the Hawaiian trip in November and I am one of them. Looking forward to seeing those Hula dancers and swaying palm trees, more about this later.

Our trip to Foxwoods was a big success as usual. We decided to take a trip to the John Fitzgerald Kennedy Museum, and since there was such an interest, we had to hire a bus. On August 9th we are also going to the Chateau Restaurant for lunch and then to the Reagle Players to see 42nd Street, the musical. The tickets are $56.00 and we still have a few seats left. On September 6th we are going to Mohegan to see Tony Orlando and the tickets are $61.00. All the prices include the bus fee and the drivers tip. You pay once and leave the rest to us!
