The Washington St Bridge
The Washington Street Bridge is a state-owned structurally deficient bridge. Now in its very early stages of design, MassDOT and Jacobs Engineering presented two different potential construction scenarios to the Town's Internal Traffic Committee on October 26, 2012, to see if the Town had any concerns from a public safety point of view.
Many members of the public were in attendance, and no final descisions were made. It was decided that more information and additional public input was needed before any one construction scenario could be chosen over another.
