LOCATION OF FACITLIY
The Hudson Transfer Station is located in the northern section of Hudson, approximately ½ mile south of the Stow line, on the east side of Cox Street between the Hudson Department of Public Works and the Mulready School.
HOURS
Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
We will be closed for the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
SAFETY RULES AND REGULATIONS
10 mph while on facility property
Approach scale or building slowly, no sudden stops or starts
Wait for facility operator to signal you to proceed
ALL vehicles must check in with facility operator and have load inspected
STOP and wait at door to pay operator and/or receive directions before entering tipping floor or drop-off area
NO standing on pit area kick wall
Children must remain in vehicle
Do not leave vehicles unattended
Do not block exit or entrance
No smoking on facility property
No littering on the property
NO HAZARDOUS WASTE ACCEPTED
The following materials are not accepted for disposal as trash under Massachusetts state regulation (310 CMR 19.017) and must be separated and recycled.

Narrow-Neck Plastic Containers
Recyclable Paper
Yard Waste (brush, leaves, grass, etc.)
Lead Acid Batteries (not accepted at this facility)
White Goods (appliances)
Tires
Cathode Ray Tubes (TV’s, computer monitors, etc.)
NO HAZARDOUS WASTE ACCEPTED
RATES
$1.00 per small bag of household waste less than 30 gallons in size
$2.00 per large bag or barrel of household waste 30 gallons and larger in size
Bags or barrels in excess of 50 gallons will be charged proportionally to size
$95.00 per ton for bulky items, minimum charge of $25.00 per load
$95.00 per ton for brush, minimum charge of $25.00 per load
$95.00 per ton for construction and demolition (C&D) materials, minimum charge $25.00
Passenger car tires, $5.00 each
White goods/appliances charged by size/type of item, minimum $25.00 per item
Yard and organic waste, no charge to residents
Recycling Drop Off, no charge to residents
Christmas trees accepted in January only, $7.00 per tree
