The Local Intiative Program is run by the MA Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). Low and Moderate Income homebuyers have an opportunity to purchase affordable housing through this program.
The Town of Hudson has an LIP Program Affordable Home available for sale to eligible Low and Moderate Income buyers. The available unit is a three-bedroom home at 6 Blueberry Lane priced at $219,250.
In order to qualify, the maximum eligible income for a family of four is $66,150. Potential buyers must submit application and supporting materials to Jennifer Burke, Town Planner, Town of Hudson, Town Hall, 78 Main Street, Hudson MA 01749, by 4 p.m. on April14, 2008 in order to be eligible to participate in a lottery of eligible buyers. Said lottery will take place in the Hudson Town Hall on April 22, 2008 at 7:00 pm in the 2nd floor auditorium.
The Town will also conduct an Open House on March 29, 2008 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at 6 Blueberry Lane. This will be the only opportunity for potential buyers to view the property.
