The Geographic Information System (GIS) is a computer based system used for the creation and maintenance of the town's geographic data. The data is used for the analysis and mapping of the town's physical attributes. Maps of the available data can be created and made available for use by various departments, boards and committees.
The Information Technology Department of the Town of Hudson, Massachusetts installs, maintains, and upgrades computer systems including hardware and software, technical support for many Town departments' computer and network needs, and more.
