PLANT AVENUE & RIDGE ROAD
November 13, 2019
Tomorrow, November 14th, Lazaro Paving will begin paving on Plant Avenue and on Ridge Road (between Cottage Street and Plant Avenue). Construction hours begin at 7:00 a.m.
Vehicular access to homes will need to be carefully planned, as once asphalt is laid, it needs one hour to dry before allowing vehicular access. No cars will be allowed to cross freshly laid pavement – plan appointments and commitments accordingly.

October 7, 2019
On October 8th, Lazaro Paving will begin milling on Plant Avenue and on Ridge Road (between Cottage Street and Plant Avenue). Construction hours are between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Vehicular access to homes will only be allowed with the permission of onsite detail police officer or construction supervisor, and street parking will not be allowed for the duration of this project.

FIRST, SECOND & THIRD STREETS

Pending completion of pre-scheduled work, Lazaro Paving will tentatively begin paving on First, Second and Third Streets tomorrow, November 14th.

BROAD STREET
November 13, 2019
On November 14th, the Contractor will conduct line painting. The road will be closed in various locations from Main Street to the rotary as the paint is laid and as it dries. The paint dries in a matter of minutes and distruptions should be temporary.
November 4, 2019
Our contractor will continue paving Broad Street tomorrow, November 5th, beginning at 7:00 a.m. Broad Street will be paved from Wheeler Road to Forestvale Road.

Our contractor will begin paving Broad Street on Saturday, November 2nd at 7:00 a.m. Broad Street will be paved from Main Street to Wheeler Road.

On Monday, September 30th, our Contractor will be conducting sidewalk and manhole repairs on Broad Street. Please seek alternate routes where possible, and expect significant delays in the area.
Due to current construction on Broad Street, those wishing to access the Forestvale Cemetery should approach from Forestvale Road until construction is done.
September 19, 2019
Due to unforeseen circumstances, milling on Broad Street will be completed tomorrow, September 20th. Work will begin at 7:00 a.m. and will be completed by 3:00 p.m.

September 18, 2019
We will be milling Broad Street, from Main Street to and including the intersection of Broad Street, South Street & Vila Do Porto Boulevard from 4:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 19th. We will be working during low traffic hours in an effort to mitigate the impact to the residents.
The milling of the remainder of Broad Street, from South Street to the intersection of Mason Street & Walnut Street will commence on Thursday, September 19th at 7:00 a.m.

We are excited to announce that on Wednesday, September 18th and Thursday, September 19th, Mass. Broken Stone Company will begin milling on Broad Street. The work will begin at 7:00 a.m. and will continue until approximately 6:00 p.m.

The water has been turned off on Broad Street from Dorman Street to Forestvale Cemetery while our crews conduct repairs. Those in the area may experience water shut-off or low water pressure. We hope to have the water turned back on within two hours. We will post updates as soon as they are available.
August 7, 2019
We are currently upgrading our water services while Eversource wraps up their gas work. We hope to begin paving the road in two weeks, weather depending.
June, 2019
We have begun to upgrade our water services on Broad Street. We anticipate completion of all utility work and the beginning of road repaving to take place in July or August, weather depending.
March, 2019
Broad Street is currently under construction by Eversource Energy. When Eversource is done completing their utility upgrades, we will be upgrading our water services. Upon completion of all utility upgrades, the road will be paved during summer 2019.
