The following information was obtained from numerous Hudson newspaper archives, books and reports such as “ The Hudson Pioneer “, “The Hudson News “,“The Hudson Daily Sun” and “The Hudson Enterprise” with the help of the Hudson public library, and the Hudson historical society. Information was also obtained through the compilation of the Hudson Fire Dept. town reports compiled by Ff. Robert Washburn of Lexington Fire. The following books were used as well “Hudson Past and Present” and the revised edition “Hudson Yesterday and Today” by E.F. Worcester, and the Eureka Engine Co. book published 1886.
