Hudson Senior Center BusThe Hudson Senior Center offers free transportation on the Senior Bus, taking all Hudson residents age 55 and over on scheduled shopping trips, to medical appointments, to the Center itself, etc. Bus pick-ups start at 8:15 am, with the last pick-up at 3 pm. Please note that this is a shared form of transportation.

Please note: Riders must call the Center the day before your appointment to schedule their ride. Riders requiring the wheelchair lift must call 2 days prior. Learn more information on our Hudson Senior Center Bus Policy (PDF).

  • Food Shopping Schedule - Food shopping day is on Tuesdays (Market Basket, Shaw's, Stop&Shop, Walmart), for all Hudson seniors, regardless of where you live. The Bus will begin its run at 9 am for Market Basket and 10 am for all other stores. Please call at least a day in advance to schedule.
  • Medical Appointments - Medical transport travel is only within Hudson and Marlboro. Times are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 3 pm. Please call the day before to schedule.
  • Senior Center Activities and Lunch Program - Please call in advance to schedule rides to the Center for our various activities, programs and lunch.
  • Misc Errands - Please call the Center for available times for personal errands such as hairdresser/barber appointments, banking, pharmacy, etc. We are unable to schedule hair or nail appointments on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Other Transportation Services

Medical Transportation - In addition to our local Senior Shuttle which takes seniors to local medical appointments in Hudson and Marlboro there are only a few organizations and services that drive people to medical appointments.

MWRTA Bus Routes - Hudson does offer a fixed-route public transportation. Route 15

MWRTA Catch Connect - Hudson Catch Connect Service - Catch Connect services Hudson and parts of Marlborough! This service will be used to complement and make connections to the existing Fixed Route 15. Service Hours: Monday through Friday: 6:45 am to 6:45 pm Saturday: 8 am to 6 pm. There is currently no service on Sundays. Riders can make transfers to the Fixed Routes 7 and 7C at Newton and Weed St. Please note riders booking Catch Connect from Hudson into Marlborough should give ample time to ensure not missing the Fixed Route bus.

Road to Recovery - Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, volunteers may be available to drive patients to all cancer related medical appointments, including treatments, labs and follow-up visits. It is recommended to contact the American Cancer Society at least 48 hours prior to the appointment to request a ride. Patients are allowed to bring a cane or walker, provided they can ambulate independently. Light weight wheel chairs are also acceptable, but it is important to inform the American Cancer Society regarding what type of equipment you will be using, if any. VetRides - This program provides transportation to veterans and their caregivers who live in Hudson, Stow or Maynard to medical appointments in both the local or Boston area free of charge.
