About Us

The mission of the Building Department is to ensure the safe minimum levels of building construction through administration and enforcement of the various State Codes. An equally important role is the enforcement of our zoning and conservation by-laws which serve as a means of planned orderly development and maintenance of the character of the community.

The Stretch Code for residential and commercial is effective as of January 1, 2020

For residents who need to seek permits or other information from The Building Department:

Permit-related applications can be obtained from the webpage.

Applications and other documents, including checks, may be mailed to Town of Hudson.  

We will email when permits or documents are ready and permits will be mailed or emailed back to you. Please put emails on all applications.
