Gleasondale Road Bridge Overnight Bridge Closure - July 15 - 16
MassDOT has announced that Gleasondale Road from Sudbury Road to Marlboro Road will be closed overnight on Thursday, July 15 to allow Hudson Light & Power to relocate utilities on the bridge before we start full construction.
Timing: 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 15 to 6 a.m. on Friday, July 16
Detour: Gleasondale Road will be closed from Sudbury Road to Marlboro Road. During the closure, the detour route depicted below will be in effect, using Hudson Rd and Tower St. The previous email inadvertently depicted an incorrect detour. Our apologies for any confusion.
Police details will be present and resident access will be maintained. This operation has been coordinated with the Towns of Stow and Hudson and their public safety officials.
What’s next?
Major construction activities are scheduled to begin later this summer. Preparation and utility work started in April and is expected to be done in August.
We will hold a virtual public meeting, expected in August, to discuss the project and its construction schedule before full construction starts. We will email you when that meeting is scheduled.
